Franco is from the great state of New York. He and his forehead have traveled the world and in between he writes and draws stuff and sometimes throws paint around on canvas. He is the creator, artist and writer of Patrick the Wolf Boy and AW YEAH COMICS! He has also worked on titles for various Comic companies including but not limited to the critically acclaimed SUPERMAN FAMILY ADVENTURES, YOUNG JUSTICE, BILLY BATSON and the MAGIC of SHAZAM, GREEN LANTERN the animated series, itty bitty HELLBOY, BATTLESTAR GALACTICA and the New York Times bestseller, multi Eisner award winning series TINY TITANS…Aw Yeah.

Marc Hammond is one of the co-founders and the General Manager of the Aw Yeah Comics location in beautiful Downtown Skokie. With nearly 20 years of experience in comics retail and convention planning, he moved from sunny Florida to Chicago for the endeavor. In what little spare time he has, he writes funny short stories for AW YEAH COMICS, and will actually be doing some work for other comic publishers in 2015, and beyond. He enjoys a good pun, and long walks around the city exploring. His weaknesses include magic, Nerf weapons, and anchovies.

Scoot McMahon is a versatile cartoonist based out of Rossford, Ohio. His talents include writing and drawing comic books, children’s book illustration, character design, and story boarding. Scoot is the proud creator behind SAMI the Samurai Squirrel and the co-creator of the weekly web comic Spot on Adventure! He’s also the current artist for another weekly web comic, Tales From the Con, for Emerald City Comic Con! Scoot loves creating entertaining cartoons for Aw Yeah Comics! He also loves pizza, basketball, and ninjas.

Kurt Wood is a full-time time traveller and part -time Jedi master of awesomeness. Kurt is the Manager of Aw Yeah Comics in beautiful downtown Skokie. He has worked for Imaginary Tales Comics, HERO Games, Amateur Thumb War Comics, and is currently a bullpen artist for AW YEAH Comics Publishing. Kurt is currently working on his creator owned comics RUMPUSS and WUNDERWEAR ! He really likes the Universal monsters. Maybe a bit too much. I mean how many Frankenstein monster toys can one grown man own? Answer? NOT ENOUGH. When he’s not drawing he can be found having various adventures with his daughter, Lorelei. Grand adventures. Fortune and glory, kid. Fortune. And. Glory.

Scott is the the site designer for both Aw Yeah Comics and the new Franco and Scoot’s Spot on Adventure site. Scott was recently promoted to the “In case of emergency, break glass” guy at the Skokie store. In the early days of working at the Skokie store he was first to receive the coveted “you are not Marc” recognition by most customers when they walked in. In his day job Scott  makes websites and has over the past 16 years designed/built hundreds of them. When not working he is a bit of a Star Trek/Golden Age D.C./beautiful Downtown Skokie nerd.
